§ 34-2. Collection of costs from person convicted.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any police officer or other officer or employee of the city to collect or receive as costs from any person convicted in the municipal court any amount of money as personal compensation.

    (b)

    Any person violating any provision of this section shall, upon conviction by the municipal court judge upon a proper case being made against him in said court, be suspended from office by the mayor.
