§ 74-52. Refuse not acceptable for collection.

The following refuse shall not be acceptable for collection by the city:
(1)

Dangerous materials. Dangerous materials or substances, such as poisons, acids, caustics, infected materials and explosives;

(2)

Construction residues. Unusual quantities of materials resulting from the repair, excavation or construction of buildings or structures, such as earth, plaster, mortar and roofing material;

(3)

Unprepared materials. Materials which have not been prepared for collection in accordance with these regulations;

(4)

Industrial waste. The solid wastes resulting from industrial processes;

(5)

Water-filled containers. Containers that have not been covered and have water in them as a result.
