§ 90-52. Title, authority, and applicability.

(a)

Title. This division shall be known and may be cited as the city water conservation and drought restriction ordinance.

(b)

Authority. The city has the authority to adopt this division pursuant to Article 9, Section 2, Paragraph I and Article 9, Section 2, Paragraph III of the Constitution of the State of Georgia, O.C.G.A. tit. 12, ch. 5, § 31, and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Rules for Outdoor Water Use, Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. Ch. 391-3-30 (hereinafter, the Rules).

(c)

Applicability. This division shall apply to all persons and jurisdictions receiving potable or reuse water from the city.
