§ 55. Additional levy authorized for school purposes.

The mayor and aldermen of the City of Milledgeville are hereby empowered to increase the ad valorem taxes levied and collected for school purposes in said city upon all property, both real and personal, two (2) mills in addition to the tax now levied for school purposes.
