§ 6-1. Definitions.

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the definitions of words and phrases in O.C.G.A. tit. 3 are hereby adopted for all purposes of this chapter. The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Licensee means the actual license holder, as well as any person in the employment of the licensee or the establishment for which the license was obtained. It shall also include any person in an informal relationship with the licensee, who takes any action which furthers the conduct of the business for which the license was obtained.

Retail beer dealer means every person, firm, corporation or association that engages in selling or handling malt beverages of any kind or character, at retail, within the corporate limits of the city.

Retail wine dealer and wholesale wine dealer shall have a like meaning and import, as related to the sale and handling of wine as is respectively defined in the definitions of retail and wholesale beer dealers.

Wholesale beer dealer means every person, firm, corporation or association that sells and/or delivers malt beverages of any kind or character to a "retail beer dealer" as defined in this section, to or within the corporate limits of the City of Milledgeville.
